Why Sammed Shikharji is the supreme Jain tirth
Sammed Shikharji, atop the Parasnath hills in Jharkhand, is revered as the tirthraj — the king of pilgrimages. Twenty Tirthankaras, including Bhagwan Parshvanath, attained nirvana here. Devotees climb roughly 9 km to complete vandana of the 20 tonks (shrines) on the hill, usually starting before dawn. Our package includes comfortable stay at Madhuban (the base town), doli/palki arrangements for elders, and experienced guides.
