Ladakh is India's most-talked-about adventure destination — and the easiest to get wrong if you skip acclimatisation. Our Ladakh tour packages always include a full acclimatisation day in Leh, oxygen cylinder in every vehicle, experienced drivers who have done the Khardung La–Nubra–Pangong circuit hundreds of times, and pure-veg / Jain meals by tie-up with the only Indian-veg-friendly kitchens at Pangong and Nubra.
Recommended Ladakh itineraries

- Only Ladakh 6N/7D Leh→Leh (shortest)
- Manali → Leh overland 10N/11D

Critical: altitude sickness prevention
- Land at Leh (11,562 ft) and rest, do nothing for 24 hours. Hydrate.
- Start Diamox (consult your doctor) 1 day before arrival.
- Avoid alcohol for the first 48 hours in Leh.
- Don't fly out to Mumbai the day after Pangong/Nubra — your body needs a buffer day in Leh.
- If symptoms persist (severe headache, nausea, breathlessness at rest) — descend immediately. Our tour manager has the evacuation protocol.
Frequently asked questions
What is the cost of Ladakh tour from Mumbai?
A 6N/7D Ladakh group tour from Mumbai costs ₹32,999–₹42,999 per person (land-only). Add ₹22,000–₹38,000 for Mumbai–Leh round-trip flights.
Is Ladakh safe for senior citizens?
Ladakh is the most demanding mainstream tourist destination in India due to altitude. We recommend it only for those under 65 with no cardiac/respiratory history, and only with a full Day-1 acclimatisation. Always carry doctor's clearance.
Which is better — Ladakh by road or by air?
By air from Mumbai: easier, faster, but altitude hits suddenly. By road (Manali–Leh or Srinagar–Leh): gradual acclimatisation, scenic, but 3–4 extra days. Most travellers prefer flying in via Srinagar–Leh (gentler altitude gain) and flying out.
How many days minimum for Ladakh trip?
Minimum 6 nights / 7 days from Leh. Anything shorter risks altitude sickness because you can't acclimatise. 10–13 days is ideal if including Kashmir or Turtuk.
